Shooting Script

1    INT. DARK ROOM. DAY

GIRL 1 is playing marbles knelt on the floor in a dark room only lit with torch light, she rolls the marbles away from her.

2    CAMERA CHANGES TO A MEDIUM CLOSE-UP FROM A SIDE ANGLE.

GIRL 1 is still playing marbles knelt on the floor, the marbles then spookily move together right in front of her eyes.

3    CAMERA CHANGES TO A CLOSE-UP OF GIRL 1’S FACE.

GIRL 1 is shocked to see this and her facial expression shows shock and fear from seeing this supernatural thing.

4    CAMERA CHANGES TO A CLOSE-UP OF THE MARBLES.

The marbles are in a group just like GIRL 1 witnessed happen.

5    BLANK BLACK SCREEN.

6    CAMERA CHANGES TO A MEDIUM CLOSE UP OF GIRL 2.

GIRL 2 looks frightened, and rocks forwards and backwards sat on the floor, while rocking she starts to sing ring-a-ring-a-roses quietly in child’s voice still looking frightened.

The scene cuts back to where GIRL 1 was sat but she isn’t there, the marbles are still in the same place.

The scene again cuts back to GIRL 2 but this time she isn’t frightened and smiles at the thought of GIRL 1 not being there anymore in her home! She then giggles in a high pitched tone.

7    CAMERA CHANGES TO BIRDS EYE-VIEW OF THE MARBLES.

The marbles roll down the frame to create the word ‘help’ this isn’t clear yet though.

8    CAMERA CHANGES TO A LOW ANGLE.

You can see the bottom of the word help.

9    BIRDS EYE-VIEW.  

The word help shows written in marbles.
